When will I be charged? Joining SpeedDater and SpeedDater Online is currently completely free and will remain free. You only have to pay to attend events. Or for SpeedDater Online to read messages, send messages or reply to flirt messages you have received. We charge your credit card when you book a speed dating event or buy a SpeedDater Online membership. The only exception to this is for events we're not sure are going to go ahead. For 'provisional' events we collect contact details and then contact everyone who has registered once we have enough people to go ahead. What happens after I pay? Once you have paid, your account is immediately activated, and your period of subscription starts (for cheque or postal order payments this is usually on the next working day). If paying by Protx, you will receive an email notifying you of your payment. This acts as your payment receipt and the Reference on it should be used if you need to contact us for any reason. Full access to the site is confirmation from us that we have actioned your payment. How do I renew my Membership? We operate a repeat billing policy. This means that once your initial membership period has expired, for your convenience, your membership will automatically be renewed at the same rate that you signed up for. That means even if our prices rise, your renewal costs are fixed at your signup price. Rebilling will occur only when your current payment period expires and not before. If you do not want to continue to use the site you can cancel the automatic billing any time before the collection date. will need to cancel any repeat billing first. You will have full access
